1st to clarify the reason I wrote this essay. I have been gambling on the web or at physical betting houses for many years. I have learned, the dependency can take a hold of you and you will not even notice it until you are penniless. Especially if you are on a winning run. I have gone through many tens of thousands of dollars in a very tiny period of time and to this day on occasion, I will go a bit too far. It appears you are just having a blast until you start to pay attention to your defeats and the guilt sets in, and then you continue to tell yourself "I can earn it back" repeatedly. It does not works. Then you feel sick in your stomach and the harder you attempt the quicker you lose.
When you notice that you’re up, STAY on the UP! When you start to lose, do not say to yourself, "well perhaps just one more" and again and again, believe me, this logic RARELY ever functions. Say you are playing on slot games, have an amount set aside before starting your action. DO NOT go over that boundary, regardless how alluring. If you actually win, put that in a separate pot. Do not spend your wins no matter what. Once you have played through your original set limit, call it a day. Head out, regardless if it’s on the internet or at a land-based betting house, do not stay around. Always remember, there is going to be another day, a different time.
Remember, betting should be exciting not backbreaking, nauseating work! If you are not enjoying yourself, you do not belong there. If youcan not afford the cost, don’t even begin.
